Well, well, well—You seem to have found my website.

Luke Moran is an award-(nominated) writer, comedian, and musician. Maybe you were looking for someone else?

The son of a hula dancer/author & an ethnomusicologist from the great state of Delaware, Luke got his start writing comedy as a teenager penning fake Wikipedia articles for internet cred.

He has since written for the likes of The Onion, Comedy Central, Maude Night at The Upright Citizen’s Brigade, web content for musicians like Cory Wong and Scary Pockets, and much more.

As a script writer, Luke writes sci-fi and coming-of-age comedies featuring multiracial protagonists. His scripts have been recognized by the Austin Film Festival and the ScreenCraft Fellowship.

As a copywriter, Luke specializes in social media and integrated campaigns that activate as well as entertain. In 2024, his campaigns for Velveeta and the La Brea Tar Pits were shortlisted at the prestigious One Show awards.

Luke went to UCLA where he studied linguistics and finally learned how to say his middle name.
